Lee, Workshops and Mags....

As one of their ambassadors, I was very honoured to be asked by LEE FILTERS to attend their 'Masters Of Photography' function in Andover recently.

It was a great evening and made even more so by the renewing of old friendships and the making of new ones. Even away from the talk of photography, it was refreshing to realise that many of us had so much in common and a life away from the camera.

We are literally scattered across the globe and it is with thanks that I tip my hat to the those that organised it for getting us all in a room at once.

A two day meet and on the second morning I was treated to a trip around the factory.

If the chance ever comes your way then don't hesitate to take up the offer. The dedication and craft of their staff is simply awesome.

Once again thanks to all at Lee and I look forward to next years gathering.

Back home now and I have enjoyed a couple of cracking workshops, got several projects on the go with a few magazine articles about to be published and have just been given a commission for a large scale project that will hit the shops around the back end of this year.

The workshops are always a pleasure to undertake and deliver and I honestly never tire of running them for people who remain in touch over the years. I find that very satisfying.

We have gone through various seasons in the past few weeks and these iphone photos demonstrate that.

Motto is never to give up! The lovely folk who book me know that whatever the weather we will get out there and their enthusiasm is fantastic.

To be fair, it hasn't really played ball and that mini heatwave we experienced last week was great whilst it lasted.

More please....

Anyway, whatever it chucks at us, lets just enjoy it and get out there as often as we can!
