Seems incredible that a year has passed since I was commissioned to write a couple of articles for two entirely different magazines.
'Outdoor Adventure Guide' asked me to prepare a piece on shooting landscapes for their 'PRO' section in their magazine and 'LandScape' asked me to undertake a brief in support of an article written about the Esk Valley in autumn. Whilst I didn't write that piece, it was a cracking challenge shooting to a very tight brief which I always enjoy. It was a pleasure 'chasing' images in specific light and locations. Much harder than simply going out and taking what you see. I recall waiting for the 'Ratty' to pass by Muncaster Mill on a gorgeous autumnal day and thinking "wow how lucky am I".

The back end of July saw me shooting a wedding at the iconic Wasdale Head Inn. It was a fantastic day, great weather and lovely people too. I wish Julie and John the very best for their future.
August has started with yours truly researching various articles I am already commissioned with and delivering a few workshops. Long may it continue.
